The company’s headquarters are based in Oslo, Norway, and it has been involved in multiple projects throughout the region, contributing to the development of critical infrastructure in the tech and data sectors.

Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated HR Legal Compliance Officer to join a dynamic, international team. This role will provide key legal and compliance support across the company, focusing on ensuring adherence to regulations in an evolving environment. As a key member of the HR department, you will collaborate closely with both HR and Compliance teams, helping steer our organization through its rapid growth in the data center sector across the Nordics. This role is based at the headquarters in Oslo area, with occasional travel required to other offices and sites in Norway and the Nordics. Prior experience in the construction industry or similar fields is highly preferred, along with experience in an international work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and apply relevant labor laws and regulations across the organization
  • Ensure the HR department operates in full compliance with Norwegian labor laws
  • Provide expert guidance to HR and management on legal compliance matters, covering the entire employee lifecycle from hiring to off-boarding
  • Stay updated on legislative changes and advise on their impact on HR policies
  • Draft, review, and update HR policies to ensure compliance
  • Prepare compliance reports for management and track progress
  • Conduct internal audits and reviews to maintain compliance standards

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR with a focus on legal or compliance topics
  • Proven experience in HR compliance and legal matters in Norway
  • Familiarity with the construction or similar industries is essential
  • Strong knowledge of labor standards, collective agreements, and relevant industry regulations
  • At least 8 years of relevant HR legal experience
  • Experience with GDPR and record-keeping standards
  • International experience, particularly in expat roles, is a plus
  • Proactive and analytical mindset with strong business acumen
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
